Telephone Banking - 866-610-8950
Telephone Banking is an interactive voice response system that features easy-to-use menus, and options that deliver detailed customer account information. You have the ability to check account balances on your deposit and loan accounts, review transaction history, transfer funds, make mortgage loan payments, hear current interest rates, and manage your debit card. For security purposes, access is restricted after 6 months of inactivity. Please call our Customer Service Department at 504-363-6513 and we will be happy to reactivate your account.

Your debit card may be used as an ATM card at local or member network ATMs, including the Allpoint Network. The Allpoint Network provides 55,000 surcharge–free ATMs worldwide. Click here to find a free ATM near you.
Debit Card Daily Limits:
$2,000 limit per card, per day
$500 limit per card, per day, for ATM withdrawals
If you are planning to travel outside the USA, and/or make international purchases (including Canada and Mexico), you must call first in order to assure the uninterrupted convenience of using your debit card.
In our efforts to protect your account, you are automatically enrolled in a fraud alert service. A text message, phone call or email will be sent to the accountholders information we have on file. You will be asked to respond to the message to confirm or deny the transaction in question. If you do not respond, your card could be temporarily blocked. *The phone number for the Fraud Center is 800-417-4592. If you add this number to your contacts and label it "FDSB Fraud Center", it will display whenever you get a call from the Fraud Center. To report a lost or stolen debit card . . .
Report the lost or stolen debit card immediately to Fifth District Savings Bank (504) 362-7544 during regular business hours. If you are calling after business hours, call 1-866-546-8273.
Protect your debit card with Fraud Monitoring
Fifth District Savings Bank now offers a service that will send a text message alert to your mobile phone when you use your Fifth District VISA check card or your ATM card.
When a purchase meets the monitoring criteria, described below, a text message will be sent to you. If the transaction is fraudulent, simply reply immediately and your card will be blocked from further activity, and a fraud analyst will contact you. You must respond within 12 hours, or the transaction will process as normal. If the transaction is legitimate, no action is required.
Please be aware that some gas stations will process a pre-authorization for an amount greater than what was actually pumped. This is common practice at many locations, especially as gas prices increase. The correct transaction amount will be debited from your account, not the pre-authorized amount.
Monitoring criteria include:
-Out of state transactions
-Transactions over $300
-More than 6 transactions in 24 hours
Criteria may be changed by Fifth District at any time. Please check our website for the most current monitoring criteria.
Debit Card Fraud Monitoring is provided at no charge by Fifth District; however, you are responsible for any text message fees from your carrier. Message and data rates may apply.
Enrollment is active for one year. You will be notified by text message prior to the expiration of the monitoring. You may renew the service by responding to the text and following the directions.
Replying to a text with the words “STOP” will cancel the subscription to the mobile device for all enrolled cards. You may reply “HELP” to a text to receive service information.
*If your card is re-issued due to loss, theft, fraud, or by request, you will need to enroll your new card by clicking below.

Let American Express know as soon as possible about a lost or stolen card by calling 1-877-AXP-GIFT. Funds used before we receive notification cannot be replaced.
